How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

Reduce...the amount of plastic I utilize in one day.
Reuse...water bottles, grocery bags, and other packages.
    Refuse...waist!
    Repair...local wildlife environments.

How do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?

My choice to walk rather than use an motorized vehicle allows me to engage more on campus. I bump into classmates, professors, and friends. I stop and get to chit-chat for some time.

What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

I would often use plastic coffee cups when I would visit our coffee shop in the university center. However, since the challenge I have strayed from using those disposable cups for a more friendly alternative of reusable coffee mugs.

How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?

It was relatively easy because I have enough options to choose from at the University commons. I was more mindful of what I was eating.

What have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?

I have noticed that I have more energy throughout the day when I walk. I am enjoying the sunny weather and the fresh air. I enjoy walks with less infrastructure so I tend to hike on trails down by the river.
