    This has been fun and has made me think about things I have not thought about, like the impact of wood cooking fires.

    Tell people the bus isn't that bad. It may take longer but it is more relaxing than commuting.

    People who have inadequate resources are forced to cook over fire and that adds pollution.

    In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

    The ability to cheaply and easily farm livestock on the US as a result of the large amount of available grazing land, and the massive production and subsidy of feed grains such as corn make it a lucrative endeavor. As a result, meat is generally affordable for most Americans. The traditional American diet is reflective of a culture that was once made up of laborers and farmers, who subsided on a meat rich diet. Much of American culture now is more sedentary and do not have the same nutritional requirements of the past, so a transition to a more plant based diet would result in better health.
