REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Support Local Food SystemsDependable fresh food, supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these (or other) advantages inspire you the most?
Megan Maerz 4/03/2019 1:37 PMI buy meat and produce directly from local farms because it tastes better, is more humane, uses less energy to transport, and because I can provide dependable income for farms with sustainable practices. I recommend the Green Bow Farm and Jubilee Farm CSA shares for anyone who is interested.
