REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Use Plant TreesHow is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?
Kayleigh Maloney 4/23/2019 8:13 PMI think planting trees makes everyone healthier in general. First off, trees give off oxygen. Which we need to live. I think can also help us mentally and spiritually because it connects us with the environment and shows us how we can make the world a better place. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Kayleigh Maloney 4/22/2019 4:44 PMAmericans eat way more meat than other countries. North America is not the healthiest country for the reason of eating so much meat. Eating meat imits greenhouse gases. This is why North America has a lot of greenhouse gases because of the amount of meat that is eaten here. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Smaller PortionsFun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Kayleigh Maloney 4/22/2019 4:37 PMSome benefits from eating less is mental and physical health of your body. Over eating can cause obesity and being over weight. -

Kayleigh Maloney 4/22/2019 4:31 PMMany people waste food just because it isn't as new as some of the other product or goods. But still eating food and goods that are still healthy and not expired could save a lot of waste in the world. If it doesn't smell or look bad it shouldn't be wasted. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and Girls Support Women-Owned BusinessesGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Try CarpoolingList some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Kayleigh Maloney 4/22/2019 4:11 PMI have dance 3-6 times a week. Me and 3 other girls in my area carpool there and back. Everyone saves a lot of gas this way. It is much more efficient to carpool and it causes less pollution. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Use Muscle PowerHow do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?
Kayleigh Maloney 4/22/2019 4:08 PMSome rides aren't safe or possible by walking, biking, ect. But when it is not too far or it is safe, I do walk and bike places. I also carpool with my friends to dance. This means less gas is in the environment which is less pollution. the less we drive, the less pollution is in the environment.
