  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Women and Girls Fund Family Planning
When family planning focuses on healthcare provision and meeting the expressed needs of women, it results in empowerment, equality, and well-being, and the benefits to the planet are side effects. Why is family planning an important civil rights consideration?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Women and Girls Support Women-Owned Businesses
Globally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. How can you better support communities by supporting women? Can you share any past experiences that may help others take action?

It is important to look into a company's corporate model and the overall impacts that consuming a particular product has on the climate. Additionally, we know that improving the economic power of women increases their ability to plan their lives.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Eliminate Toxic Plastics
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    Anne McHugh 4/12/2019 9:58 AM
I regularly get a chai at a coffee house to go. I have been bringing my own mug or enjoying it in the coffee house to eliminate my use of disposable coffee lids.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Anne McHugh 4/12/2019 9:56 AM
I chose LED bulbs for their energy impact and because they reduce waste by burning out less frequently than fluorescent or incandescent bulbs.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
