    I live in a heavily farmed area, with many families who are dependent on the viability of their land and the support of local government officials, and it is so critical to maintain these farms, not only for the livelihood of those who work them, but to sustain undeveloped landscape and to provide healthier alternatives.

    Resources are struggling to maintain pace with population growth, it will be critical that we continue to seek out opportunities, even in the smallest ways, to make our daily existence more sustainable, and the driving force behind it will be attention and knowledge.

    I notice the diversity of infrastructure within NYC, historic buildings juxtaposed to new ones, developments in public transportation, and individuals more conscious of what is happening around them.

    I travel by public transit train every day, allowing tens of thousands of people daily in my area to pursue a much greater degree of opportunity
