I am so happy to have been able to at least make a few changes in my life for the better, carpooling, walking daily, eating better by smaller portions, recycling as much as I can and thinking of ways I can help in improving my environment. This has been an eye opening and great experience so far.

Had a great day yesterday visiting the community gardens and green house at our campus!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?
