    In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

    I think that media plays a big role in it: growing up and having the image of a "square meal" as including meat. I also think that people associate protein with health and fitness more than they need to, and that we overconsume protein because, largely, people don't know how much they actually need.
