REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Stay on the GroundWhat was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?
Rachel Morris 4/04/2019 2:02 PMKeeping in mind the large carbon impact of flying commercially when planning trips is a mindset that I want to continue to cultivate. I love traveling and would use train, bus, or other mass transit options more often if they were locally available to me. Planning to fly shorter distances and travel the remaining distance to my final destination aboard a train is a strategy I plan to continue to utilize in the future. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Rachel Morris 4/03/2019 6:47 AMNorth American food culture can be very meat-centered and many people do not have a knowledge base for how to cook tasty, satisfying meat free meals. Sharing knowledge and experiences within communities and engaging families in cooking and eating more plant-based meals are strategies that build up confidence in embracing food consumption habits that are healthier for individuals, communities, and our Earth as a whole.
