Well, I hardly played, and did not take the time to learn something new.  I did contact State House Reps, and will continue to do so, and I shared this annual programs with more of my community.

Good morning everyone.  I am not sure what our barriers were to participation this year, but, I love this annual event.  I am supported, reminded, and challenged by it.

Hey everybody.  I have a real problem with Poison Ivy along my fenceline.   I THINK I have finally gotten to a solution.  While I have been cutting it back at the roots for a year, and that has gotten several 'mother' plants cut back to their dusty cores, I can't get close to these things anymore as I am highly allergic and that dust is brutal.   This article states that poison ivy will grow where the soil is least healthy, which fascinated me, what I know about my fenceline is that for years, the yard services have sprayed Round Up like products on the fenceline to clera it, causing the soil to just be toxic and dead.   It's also suggested that poison ivy and oak like acidic soils.   So, my next phase is to continue to cut all of it off at the roots this year.  Mulch with a nice compost and hardwood mulch, and to amend the entire fenceline with a dolomite lime enriched with Calcium and Magnesium to jack up the PH levels.  If anyone has any other organic tools for fighting Poison Ivy let me know.  I'll also be adding Comfrey, Calendula, and Allium and see if balancing the soils will kill off this stuff for good.

I added some activities from the women and girls category.  It's interesting that that category asks for money.   I think there are lots of actions missing from that category that don't cost money.   It's also interesting that investing in women's self reliance makes a big impact on global resources.    I think this category deserves more attention.   Another category for youth in general and for young boys would probably have a big impact as well.

I forgot that this started.  Yikes.

Is it a bad thing if I am registered both for my day job and also as my own small business.  I did this on accident, just not paying attention.   Hm.
