    Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

    Tanto el agua como las horas de trabajo, ya que en el primero, es un desperdicio de ese recurso vital en el planeta. Y en cuanto a las horas de trabajo, me imagino que las personas encargadas del proceso del producto, desde la materia prima hasta el proceso en sí, entonces se me hace injusto que hayan trabajado en vano.

    Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

    Además de los beneficios ambientales, otro muy importante es el beneficio de salud; comer porciones más pequeñas hace que te sientas más "ligero" y ayudado con algo de ejercicio puedes mantenerte en forma.

    Porque la planificación habla de la conciencia y el impacto social que tiene tener un hijo actualmente, siendo consientes que cada persona en el mundo tiene una huella ecológica, la cual es parte de una global.

    Reducí considerablemente el uso de café en mi vida, cocino mis alimentos con aceite de coco y también reducí el consumo de chocolates y derivados.

    Hablándolo con mi familia, les comenté la idea de invertir en paneles solares en nuestro hogar, a todos les pareció una muy buena idea y ya estamos en proceso de comenzar a hacerlo. 
    Me comprometí a no usar la computadora o la televisión cuando estoy en el celular, ya que es doble gasto de energía.

    Reducir  costos de pago de la luz, aprovechando la luz natural en el día y reduciendo el uso de aparatos electrónicos y/o desconectándolos cuando no se usen.

    "Reforestar" es una palabra que también me emociona mucho, ya que los árboles son muy importantes en el planeta y poco a poco el hombre tala más y más bosques sin importarle las consecuencias negativas en ese ecosistema.
