Food Learn More about Regenerative Agriculture
Clean air, clean water and healthy food are three reasons to care about regenerative agriculture. What are some other reasons?

Here are some more videos and links I found regarding Regenerative Ag.

We can sign on for 4p1000 to ensure healthy souls and sequester carbon from the atmosphere. CPN will be looking at this as an initiative this year!

    Materials Choose Recycled Paper
Good job on choosing recycled paper! How can you take your action a step further?

I was really trying to find providers locally who sold bulk recycled paper and was disappointed in the local stores. I’d love to see more businesses providing recycled paper options. This way there is less of an additional carbon footprint in getting recycled paper to my home. Also maybe it’s time to learn how to make my own!

I really love this beautiful illustration of the array of food sourcing. It’s not about good or bad, it’s the spectrum of impact and this beautifully captures that.

I decided to use an alternative for the toilet tank. I’ve taken glass jars filled with water sealed close to prevent the water from draining out. I took glass jars from the food I eat and then have up cycled something from my food waste.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

Eating smaller portions also allows for more food security and a smaller grocery bill. I spent $34 at the grocery for 10 meals which typically would be  about 6 meals. I’ve also become more aware of the quality and quantity of what I drink.
