I would like to switch to an electric car.  It is just hard because of the cost (min $40 000).  I wish I would have purchased when the Ontario gov. was giving rebates up to $15 000. Right now, the federal government is offering $5000 but I am not sure how long that will last with an election coming up. If I wait, the technology is improving (especially batteries) and costs are coming down.  I think maybe my next purchase will be electric...but I am a couple years away at least.

Spent the day in Hiawatha at a Anishinaabeg Sugar Bush. Learned about how sap was gathered and sugar was made in a traditional pre-contact manner.

I spent the day with an indigenous leader named Beedahbin.  He gave his perspective on anishinaabe language, history, and culture. He reviewed some of DDSB Outdoor Education programs and offered suggestions on how to make them more authentic. It was fascinating and I really appreciate his knowledge.

I seem to have chosen "one-time challenges", not daily ones. I will complete one of the challenges on Friday. Go team!
