Meat in the form of hamburgers is served in every fast-food restaurant, and these restaurants are heavily advertised and very popular across the country.  Also, in the last two decades portion size has grown substantially in restaurants, and this includes meat entrees.  Additionally, Americans are often unaware of the harmful effects of eating meat-based diets, both on their own health and on the health of the planet.
