    MONEY WILL BE SAVED.
Because I don't have to use my house energy
The sun will provide me energy for water

Great.  There are increasing sources of financial support to help people get access to solar technology and energy.  This is part of the Youth Lobby's initiative to help make energy efficiency more affordable.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

Can you elaborate on these Aniyah?  How could single use containers be replaced with more durable/re-usable ones?
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Composting
Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

Water is a main source humans need.
and damaging water with pollution is just terrible.

Land we need for homes and growing food.

All of these things are important or at least play a role in this.

Toxic substances in air contaminated by waste include carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane those things change my veiw because us humans need an enviornment
where future generations can breathe fresh air drink fresh water and grown fresh food from uncontaminated land. I think this response doesn't exactly answer but it's just how i feel.

Great Aniyah.  Appreciating the environmental "goods and services" that the Earth provides is a great way to begin to feel connected to our home.  I hope you are seeing from class that all our actions and those of people around the world will greatly influence our climate and aspects of our earth like sea level rise, glacier melt, ice sheets, etc.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Use Forest-Friendly Foods 2
How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?

There are temptations in the food industry which one can't resist,
however avoiding heavy amounts of salty, sugary, greasy type food is good.

What you eat obviously  causing  problems physically in the future

So  short answer is yes it was easy for me to block out my daily junk.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

    Recycling makes me feel positive.
knowing that recycling  reduces objects from becoming trash
and into a new, helps the earth.

If you dump it all in a wasteland or burn it you'll release stuff in the air
and the materials are know gone

Great!  Recycling is a tangible step everyone can do.  If we can maximize the use of the recyclable matter, we can reduce not only objects going into trash (ultimately the landfills) but also reduce the total energy and greenhouse gas emissions from producing these objects from raw materials.
