Ellen Sumpter 4/15/2019 12:51 AMEnjoying being exposed to some interesting and new thoughts, but was just reflecting today with a fellow eco-challenger today how there are a number of American actions that don't quite match our NZ setting, so missing out on some points opportunities for the team!! I know there are heaps of things that we are all doing on a daily basis that are not being captured here - but heh ho, we know we are doing it :-)
Mark - great idea to catch up at the end of the challenge. -
Ellen Sumpter 4/13/2019 12:46 PMHi there - this morning I came across this TED talk about "Donut Economics". I share the link with you in case you have any interest: https://youtu.be/Rhcrbcg8HBw Kate Raworth calls herself a renegade economist and talks about viewing economics from a sustainable perspective, questioning the traditional growth model which promotes consumerism and living beyond our environmental means. I liked what she had to say.
