By improving my home’s energy efficiency the furnace doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain temperature, which will expand the life of the equipment and ultimately save money both in energy bills and long term maintenance.

I enjoy hearing the birds in the morning and watching my dog walk in and out of all the local business alcove looking through the window for people that might come out and pet her.  There is a small section of our walk that would be more enjoyable if the area was maintained.  It’s in a location behind the train tracks where people decide to throw away you used bottles on public sidewalk behind some industrial properties.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

    Food Reduce Animal Products
In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

I believe North America's eat more meat than any other county because it is they way our parents were raised and their parents were raised.  Meat was the main entry with vegetables and starches being sides.  Educating people at a young age could help reduce and change families mindsets in the amount of meat actually required in a healthy diet.
