Share Bioplastic Disposal Tips
#47 Bioplastic
I will spend at least 20 minutes researching how to properly dispose of bioplastics in my city and share this information with 3 friends, family and/or colleagues.
Food
Keep Track of Wasted Food
#3 Reduced Food Waste
I will keep a daily log of food I throw away during the EcoChallenge, either because it went bad before I ate it, I put too much on my plate, or it was scraps from food preparation.
Materials
Recycle Everything I Can
#55 Household Recycling
I will recycle all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Support Local Food SystemsDependable fresh food, supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these (or other) advantages inspire you the most?
Laura Uselis 4/09/2019 1:21 AMGoing to the farmers market has become a weekly routine for us in Portugal. Its a lovely place with colourful fresh veggies and fruits and fish from the local fishermen and the perfect place to have your saturday morning coffee and meet your neighbours. One of the best things is knowing that the money you spend is going directly to the farmer and you're cutting down on how far your food is travelling.
