Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.

Over my vacation, I tried to educate my parents about the importance of small changes to help the environment (reusable straws and bags were the biggest). At first my mom thought it was silly, but by the end of my trip I noticed her making some different choices!

I have been able to take this challenge beyond myself. By setting up the recycling center in my classroom my Kjndergarteners have taken up an interest in learning what can be recycled!

How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

Using the R’s has helped me feel more organized and clutter Free. Re-use has been the biggest R in my lifestyle. Sharing baby clothes with my mom friends has not only helped the environment. But helped my bank account too
