To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

What have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?

I really love the trees and animals on my walks. The worst thing (that needs to be changed) is small sidewalks. They make walking much less pleasant.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

That money could go towards making life more sustainable, like sealing windows and using more efficient light bulbs.

I've been keeping track of the food I throw away, and I'm pleasantly surprised! I've wasted almost no food this week.
