    Food Composting
    Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

    Using up resources like water, energy, or land to produce food that will ultimately be wasted really makes you think twice about how much stuff you throw away. I started a compost bin at my apartment and my roommates were excited to get on board with this!

    In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

    I think that we live in a society of convenience and that is largely reflected in the diets of people in the United States. Less nutritious or more environmentally harmful foods are often easier to prepare or get access to and, therefore, often make up a larger portion of peoples daily diet. Meat is one example of this in the United States.
