  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

I purchased reusable mesh bags to put my produce in at the store instead of using the provided plastic bags.

I like the challenge of reducing, reusing, refusing, repairing and repurposing items.

I am going to donate furniture to a furniture bank.

I love the idea of reusable mesh bags!  I'm going to get some too.  No longer trying to find the plastic ones in the store (most of the time they're out or too few rolls distributed around) and fighting to get them open.  Thanks for the great idea and have an awesome evening!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Electricity Generation
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

There are several tall buildings in town that could benefit from wind turbines.

I have a better understanding of when food is safe to eat.  I shop frequently so I don't have as much waste.
