REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric VehicleReducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?
Caleb Hull 4/23/2019 1:35 PMOne of the big motivators is not being around gas stations. The move to put recharging stations in quieter areas allows for a change ‘refueling’ culture. The reality is, I need a truck for a new vehicle in a year or two and there’s isnt a jybridnor electric that fits our needs. Hopefully we can trade in our commuter car for an electric when we are no longer doing business in toronto. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn More about Regenerative AgricultureClean air, clean water and healthy food are three reasons to care about regenerative agriculture. What are some other reasons?
Caleb Hull 4/16/2019 12:48 PMImproving doing health, biodiversity, reducing transportation costs through small scale local farming. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Social Justice Express My SupportHow could better walking infrastructure make your city both more enjoyable and more equitable?
Caleb Hull 4/16/2019 12:33 PMFinished my delegation to council encouraging them to create policies where pedestrians are the first priority. We have unsafe intersections and sidewalks which make walking unpleasant. Access to the park is reduced. We will see if the town acts on anything.-
Leigh Grigg 4/17/2019 8:22 PMAmazing work. Anything I can do to help just let me know.

Caleb Hull 4/15/2019 1:33 PMWe received our worm composter to cut down on food waste. We’ve had worm composters for some time and have taught vermicomposting for 2-3 years. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Become A Master Recycler/ComposterWhat could you do differently to waste less?
Caleb Hull 4/03/2019 3:53 PMWe are currently looking in to buying larger vermicomposters and record/improve our current curriculum on composting/worms.
Vermicompsoting helps capture usable nutrients and is suitable to reduce food waste in the winter- if your worms are kept inside. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Caleb Hull 4/02/2019 8:07 AMThe lack of complete and accessible vegetarian options contributes to the consumption of meat. Living in a cold environment, people rely on meat in the winter for protein.
Lack of usuable land, limited educational resources, and inaccessible materials add to people’s inability to supplement their diet with home grown vegetables. This results in a dependence on grocery stores which add to transportation costs increasing ones carbon footprint. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and Cities Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Caleb Hull 4/02/2019 7:59 AM- Plowed school Routes and streets to hospital
- Repaired sidewalks
- Safer intersections needed (4way light and sign clutter that can distract drivers reducing pedestrian safety)
- Accessibility to those who live on the hill
- Fencing blocking off park access
-
Leigh Grigg 4/17/2019 8:24 PMThis has been a frightening sidewalk for as long as I can remember. -
