My vegan diet helps with less deforestation...but for cultivation in the amazon that is beginning to get intensified, it does have an impact. This is not necessarily diet related, but more so related to the agricultural practices (cultural) in tropical forests. REDD+ is trying to get involved through governmental actions, but there is a distrust amongst indigenous peoples as previously, the program almost destroyed their way of life. Is there a way for REDD+ to ensure culture while also saving the environment?
