Manuelito Pinlac 4/28/2019 7:40 PMRank: 155 out of 1,054 teams worldwide
Congratulations, team!
Now that the Drawdown Ecochallenge has been completed, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being a part of this 21-day challenge and for sharing your experiences not just with the Linang team but with the whole world. My colleagues at SAGEX are preparing simple tokens for each of our teammates as a keepsake and most importantly, as a reminder that YOU have been a part of this earth-saving endeavour.
But this doesn’t end here. I trust that you will do the best that you can to live the lessons we have learned in this ecochallenge and to mindfully share these lessons to others.
On behalf of SAGEX, thank you very much and more power to you. Stay responsible. Be bold. Discover. Act.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and Girls Support Women-Owned BusinessesGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. How can you better support communities by supporting women? Can you share any past experiences that may help others take action?
Manuelito Pinlac 4/05/2019 11:57 PMPoverty-stricken people in most developing countries (3rd world) tend to prioritise basic necessities such as food, health, shelter, and probably education, if local governance allows it to be, rather than concerning themselves with issues related to the environment. Arguably, the single most important cure to fight poverty is “empowering women.” When people’s basic needs are taken cared of, a shift in their priorities usually happen—like most middle-class and well-off families could attest: a transition in consciousness where awareness of ecological issues and the need to take part in solving such issues has an important, if not urgent, place. -
Manuelito Pinlac 4/03/2019 8:19 PMIt has been a fantastic first day for our team! Let’s keep on learning, doing and sharing. “Small steps each one of us takes, huge life dance Mother Earth makes.” Stay cool, everyone...

I cannot find a way to revoke the “captain” status. We can leave it at that if you don’t mind....thank you, ma’am. -

Jing Legaspi 4/12/2019 5:57 PMSir, I think I clicked something from the email that automatically made me co-captain. Although I have no problem with such title, I am not confident to do the job to the best of my ability, since I am sick at the moment. -
Manuelito Pinlac 4/10/2019 7:25 AMNot a problem...thanks very much, ma'am. -
Jing Legaspi 4/10/2019 2:07 AMHmmm, I am not sure about meet ups, I am actually on leave from work because of an auto immune condition. sometimes, i'm in pain. The co capt position maybe too much for me at the moment. This isnt what I have in mind, really. :D -
Manuelito Pinlac 4/09/2019 4:39 PMHello Jing! Each team can have 3 team captains. A team captain usually guides and supports teammates and help setup, coordinate, and perhaps presides meet-ups if ever. Would love to ring you for a short talk if ever. Salamat po, ma’am. -
