Dennis Sallans 4/16/2019 1:48 PMI would like to switch to an electric car. It is just hard because of the cost (min $40 000). I wish I would have purchased when the Ontario gov. was giving rebates up to $15 000. Right now, the federal government is offering $5000 but I am not sure how long that will last with an election coming up. If I wait, the technology is improving (especially batteries) and costs are coming down. I think maybe my next purchase will be electric...but I am a couple years away at least. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Social Justice Learn about Local Indigenous PracticesWhat did you learn about indigenous peoples' land management that you can apply in your own life?
Dennis Sallans 4/05/2019 6:19 PMI spent the day with an indigenous leader named Beedahbin. He gave his perspective on anishinaabe language, history, and culture. He reviewed some of DDSB Outdoor Education programs and offered suggestions on how to make them more authentic. It was fascinating and I really appreciate his knowledge. -
