I didn't realize just how many foods that we consume that hurt the rainforests.  I will buy coffee that is produced in an environment that is natural and not land that has been cleared to grow the coffee beans. 

That we must all work together to make this world more sustainable.   Instead of taking everything from mother earth, do things naturally.  Use more solar and wind power.
Don't be afraid to talk to others about what we can do as humankind to make a difference in this work before it is too late and we cannot do anything to reverse the damage.

Before I throw food out I will revisit if it is edible. 

Reducing the amount of meat and coffee that we purchase will help reduce the amount of waste. It will also help reduce the amount of these products that are required.

Run less water while washing dishes and use energy efficient appliances like washing machines and dishwashers. Set a timer and take quick showers and install low flow toilets. don't run the faucet while washing your hands, get them wet and shut it off then soap up and then turn it back on and rinse, or use hand sanitizer as an alternative.

Seek out the small business owners when you are spending your retail dollars.  You may pay a bit more but you will receive superior service and may even make a connection with the owner that goes beyond your initial transaction.  Small businesses are important to the world so do your part and be supportive.  I thank you for doing so.
