I am learning SO much about our SOIL'S role in climate and food, in a course I am taking with KISS THE GROUND.  In fact, We can regenerate our soils quite simply, with results being carbon squestration, healthy food and agricultural systems, and healthy ecosystems.  Carbon is not the enemy --- there is simply too much in the air and not enough in the ground!

Studied alternatives to cement and how concrete is made in view of us building a new house. decided on a wooden terrace vs concrete, and we will pay attention to have the concrete elements as locally sourced as possible, while questionning the cement production method and promote clinker alternatives

I will cook dinner based on kale from the vegetable garden, some of my left over plants from last year fell over because of the snow so it is a good time to use them. The others plants (about 8) will continue to grow into flowering and give yummy little leafs along the stem as I learnt from my permaculture neighbour guru Marie Madeleine
