    My transportation choices definitely changes my perspective and how I participate in my community. I enjoy walking and biking. Driving is more stressful. Riding transit is in-between because there times that I like taking transit.

    It is good for my mental/spiritual health because I mediate in nature to de-stress. Trees provide excellent shade in the summer and oxygen to breathe.

    It always people to connect and support the local economy. People are more likely to check shops while walking.

    I can go to the businesses by donating my time and money. I like food businesses because I just need to buy food and drinks to support them.

    The environmental challenges are big, but I am working with others to provide solutions. I fee overwhelmed with information about sea level rise  because the glaciers are diminishing. California has a lot of potential for carbon sequestration. This makes me hopeful to think about.

    I learn I could grow local herbs and plants and harvest them at home. I can manage this small garden to promote pollinator habitat.
