I have no idea how to pursue some of these goals. How do I make micro loans? How do I become a master recycler? Goals are very nice but not much use without pointers toward information.

      Hi Judith,
Each action has a Learn More button with links to more information and resources. Click on the button. For micro loans, in addition to the provided links, you might want to take a look at GrameenAmerica.org
Let us know if that helps.

The Drawdown book edited by Paul Hawken provides an excellent start, and one can find a great deal of additional info online. I think the EcoChallenge program does a good job inspiring us . . . and that it's up to us to get creative in how we meet our goals. If you're free on Saturday, April 20th, please join the Woodstock Environmental Commission and partners on the Woodstock Village Green between 10 and 2 for an Earth Day celebration. We'll have lots of eco info available. Woodstock NY Transition, founders of the Woodstock NY Community (EcoChallenge) Team, will host a table. Other participants will include the Woodstock Land Conservancy, Solar Generation, Solar Universe, Hudson Valley Farm, Catskill Mountainkeeper, Fox Farm Apiaries, the Woodstock Tree Committee, Overlook Bicycles, Romeo Chevy (2019 Bolt) and Kingston Nissan (2019 Leaf). There will also be advocates for plant-based diets, pollinator conservation and more. Hope to see you there!
