    Probably bioenergy as it can not only help to generate electricity from animal waste but also help to minimize some of the impacts (e.g., smell) of industrial scale animal agriculture.

    I hadn’t heard of it before reading about it in project drawdown. Was delighted to learn there was some research on silvopasture taking place here in NC. The biggest advantage seems to me to be that trees are part of the solution rather than being cut down for animal agriculture.

    By knowing the difference between these dates, I can help decrease the amount of food waste I produce. Since I now have a better idea about what these dates mean, I will not throw food away (based on incorrect information that it has gone bad) when it is still safe to eat.
