April 24 at 9:00 PMWomen even though they often produce more food than men are allocated fewer resources, land, and rights as men which can hurt their productivity. Support women farmers and the world will have more food to feed the starving.

April 24 at 8:53 PMHigher income areas and countries use more transportation. This is because people can afford cars and increased transportation to other places is a part of economic growth. We don't realize how privileged we are in Rhinebeck where we each drive our own cars to school each day. I once had a conversation with a girl from Ghana who found it crazy...
