I'm excited about the potential of Solarize programs and using the power of bulk purchasing to further drive down the prices. We are getting to the point where it is cheaper to do solar than other options. We just need to convince some of our legislators to help those that can't afford it to find options.

I not only have gone paperless in my personal life I have also implemented this in my work life as much as possible. It helps to minimize waste and keeps my desk clear which also helps reduce stress.

    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

I appreciate that the community that I live in provides a recycling station that is not far from where I live. It makes it convenient to recycle and keeps me motivated to think before I throw things in the trash.
I have also incorporated this into my work life as well. I have reduced my printing greatly and the paper that I do have to print, I try to reuse as scratch paper. Once it's full I recycle the paper.
It makes me feel good about recycling when we do not have an overflowing trash can to take out weekly for the waste company to have to pick up.

I enjoy getting outside of the office and taking a break from work. I feel that after a walk I feel more refreshed and ready for work again. It also helps me appreciate all the nature that is around our work site.

I like the idea of reducing the clutter also reduces stress. I will have to give that a try!!!

I did not realize that Atlanta is the "Sex Trafficking Capital of the U.S." This came up at a program about global sustainability at the Center for Civil and Human Rights. The wonderful women who spoke focused on the issues of women and their strengths. I started discussions about our Women in Green program taking a deeper dive than just the discussion and will be looking at the next step. Looking forward to continuing the conversation.

I am so excited to start this challenge. There are so many people that say "what I do doesn't make a difference". I feel like this proves them all wrong. This will be my third time participating and I feel like I get better every time. I'm excited to meet my challenges!!
