Great challenge, Lime Team!!

Learned a lot of interesting things.

In the home stretch - let's go Lime Team!!

I think that media plays a big role in it: growing up and having the image of a "square meal" as including meat. I also think that people associate protein with health and fitness more than they need to, and that we overconsume protein because, largely, people don't know how much they actually need.

I took smaller portions at Easter dinner with family, but I think some other relatives did not get the memo looking around the table ;) 

Unfortunately there are no grocery stores in walking distance of my house, but I save these necessary car trips for only one day a week and try not to use my car at all otherwise!

Today I decided to walk to meet my husband for dinner instead of using Uber - I was lucky the rain held off too!

It is important not to waste food not only because you throw away money when you do so, but all the labor and costs to the earth that go into producing that food is also wasted.  That's why I plan to start a compost bin for my garden this week!

Took my reusable salad container out to get lunch today!  One less plastic container going to the landfill.

Walked to pick up the dry cleaning today instead of hopping in the car!
