    I believe this occurs because in many cultures it is the women who are in charge of maintaining the household and the family. Because it takes a village to raise children, their lives are directly impacted and improved by a better community.

    Just finished my last run on the Fanno Creek trail during the EcoChallenge. I feel so blessed that I have such a beautiful well maintained path so close by.

    I've always thought that family planning is important, however until doing more research I did not realize how much correlation there is to family planning and climate change.
